April Jones murder trial told Mark Bridger's story 'incredible'

The jury in the trial of the man accused of murdering April Jones has been told the defendant's story is "totally incredible".

The prosecution barrister told the jurors the evidence overwhelmingly leads to the conclusion that Mark Bridger is guilty.

Mr Bridger, 47, of Ceinws, Powys, denies abducting and murdering five-year-old April, who went missing near her Machynlleth home on 1 October 2012.

Cemlyn Davies at Mold Crown Court gave an update to Jenny Rees in the Wales Today studio.
